Crazy Day
Well, my first day at Randall-Paulson was pretty crazy. Mainly because the night before I got incredibly sick, throwing up 3 times that night and only getting 1 hour of sleep...if that. Needless to say, I was not to happy that morning. But after I got to Roswell, an hour early...and got into the office things went really well. Everyone in the office is really nice and helpful. The first day was pretty much taken up with paper work, a tour of the office, and meeting everyone. Teri, my mentor took me out to lunch which was very nice of her. The other people we ate with were also very nice and funny. Then after lunch I got my first assignment. I was really scared that I wasn't doing it right and that I was completely incompetent. But hopefully I'll learn in the time to come. The office environment seems really friendly, I love the atmosphere. Everyone there seems like friends which is cool. So, next Friday will be another story and hopefully I'll get more than an hour of sleep!

Milestone
Oh, and I heard back from the people at Milestone Academy. The owner emailed me saying she's going to take a look at my designs and get back to me if she likes any of them. Fingers crossed!
It's been an awesome and eventful week for me!

Interview...
So, I had my first interview for a graphic design internship today, with an architecture firm. To tell you the truth, I was kind of nervous. I have never been on a professional interview before. But after I got there things went pretty well.
The interview went smoothly for the most part. I showed the lady my portfolio and she said it was one of the best she had been shown for this position. She liked the variety I showed and said I had some great work. Needless to say, that was good to hear.
They are deciding on who will get 2nd interviews in the next 2 weeks or so. Hopefully I'll hear back. The only concern she had was with my schedule. Not being able to work immediately sucks! But if it's meant to be it will be, I guess.
But wish me luck!

Milestone
I've been working on some logos for this place called Milestone Academy, which is a childcare center here in Georgia. They said they wanted something abstract, not to sure if I did that, and wanted the name of the place included in the logo, that I did do.
I was just wondering what you guys had to say about them. I know the last two are a little pixelated, I think from when I transferred them to jpegs, but I can fix that.

New Blog
So, this is my first post on my new blog. I hope to be adding some images soon of my art work, as soon as I get some pictures of them. Yeah, that may take a little while.
I also want to liven up this layout some in the future. It's pretty drab right now. Well, I don't really have much to say besides that. So, check back sometime soon and maybe I'll actually have something to look at.
