Hey guys, take a look at my new poster design and tell me what you think. Seriously, let me know if you have any other ideas. This thing is EVIL!!! Any help would be great. Commence with comments....
The hot pink for the photography is not working along with the illustrative type.
What I feel for this version, as well as the one for critique, is that the typeface is not interacting with the photography. Remember Space Jam? Or Roger Rabbit? Even for the covers or the poster ads, the real characters interacted with the illustrative ones. Your challenge is to find a way where your photography or another illustration interacts with your illustrative typeface.
Maybe you could have someone get a picture taken using some of the letters of the typeface...like they're in front of a mirror. Something funny, loose, and engaging! :) You'll think of something Lauren, I know you will. :)
